| Obverse description | Frontal bust of a bishop within a raised inner circle, depicted in a stylized Romanesque manner. The figure wears a mitre adorned with a horizontal band and flanking lappets, and is shown with schematic facial features rendered in low relief. The right hand is raised in benediction, while the left hand holds a processional cross. Folded vestments are indicated by simple incised lines on either side of the bust. |
