| Beschrijving keerzijde | Incuse mirror image of the obverse design, as is characteristic of all single-sided bracteate coinage. The reverse shows the negative impression of the dragon or Lindworm and surrounding beaded circle, produced by the single-die striking process inherent to bracteate manufacture. No deliberate reverse design, legend, or device is present. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Rudolph IV held the Breisgau landgraviate only briefly in the early 1250s before the territory's absorption into Habsburg consolidation reshaped the entire upper Rhine political order. The Breisach mint was among the more productive bracteate-issuing workshops in the region, but output tied to this specific interlude was necessarily limited by the short administrative window.
Bracteates of this weight class — under half a gram of hammered silver — are extraordinarily fragile and rarely survive without at least some peripheral cracking or flan damage. The Wielandt and Matzke corpora remain the primary references for distinguishing Breisach dies from the closely related Freiburg issues of the same decade.
