Beneath the castle, a pointed arch or gabled base contains a six-petaled rosette in the field. The entire design is enclosed within a plain inner ring and a pronounced outer beaded border. The composition is bold and schematic, reflecting the Swabian bracteate tradition of the late 13th century. No legend or inscription is present. |
