| Beschrijving voorzijde | Equestrian effigy of the king advancing to the right, depicted in full armour and mounted on a caparisoned horse. The ruler holds a lance with a pennant flag in his right hand and a heraldic shield in his left. An imperial orb appears in the left field and a pellet or dot is visible in the right field. The design is executed in the single-sided bracteate tradition, with the relief struck through a thin flan of silver, producing a characteristic repoussé-style impression. |
