Obverse description Thin single-sided bracteate struck in low relief on a broad, irregular flan with a characteristically irregular irregular border. Central field depicts a facing frontal figure, identified as the margrave, rendered in a schematic Romanesque style with a stylized torso adorned with horizontal ribbing suggesting mail or robes. The figure is flanked on each side by a tall architectural or heraldic element, likely stylized towers or fleur-de-lis staves, giving the composition a symmetrical, heraldic quality. The design is contained within a slightly raised circular border. No legend or inscription is present, consistent with Bohemian bracteate coinage of the Ottokar II period.
