| Obverse description | Uniface bracteate struck in thin silver sheet. The central device depicts a stylized quadruped, likely a lion or heraldic beast, shown passant within a raised circular border. Above the animal's back, a schematic representation of a shield or helmet crest is visible, flanked by two pellets or globules. The design is rendered in a bold, simplified medieval style characteristic of Moravian bracteate coinage of the mid-thirteenth century, with the entire composition confined within a slightly concave field. |
