Obverse description Bracteate type struck on a thin, single-faced flan with an irregular raised rim. Central device depicts a stylized heraldic shield surmounted by a crowned helm with a crest, rendered in low relief characteristic of Moravian bracteate coinage of the mid-to-late 13th century. The shield bears a checkered or divided pattern associated with the arms of Ottokar II as Margrave of Moravia. The design is set within a slightly concave field typical of the bracteate technique, with no surrounding legend visible.
