| Aanvullende informatie |
Ottokar II struck these thin, uniface bracteates during the opening years of his reign, before his territorial ambitions transformed Bohemia into the dominant power in central Europe. The large-module format was short-lived; production shifted to smaller types by the 1260s as minting administration was reorganized under pressure of rapid territorial expansion into Austria and Styria.
Cach 770 is among the more locally distinctive issues of the series, attributable to Bohemian workshops rather than the Moravian branch mints that produced related types in the same window.
