| Beschrijving keerzijde | Uniface coin with a plain, blank reverse, as is characteristic of all bracteate coinage. The reverse shows only the incuse mirror impression of the obverse design, inherent to the single-die hammered bracteate striking technique, with no intentional design, legend, or device. |

Ottokar II came to the Bohemian throne in 1253 following his father Wenceslaus I's death, and this large bracteate issue belongs to the earliest phase of his reign, before his territorial ambitions drew him into prolonged conflict with Rudolf of Habsburg. Bohemian bracteates of this period were struck on exceptionally thin flans — a single-die technique producing a mirror impression on the reverse — which makes fully struck, uncorroded survivors genuinely difficult to source.
Cach 795 is among the larger diameter types in the Ottokar II bracteate sequence, distinguished from the smaller contemporaneous issues by flan width rather than weight alone.
