| Obverse description | Enthroned frontal figure of King Ottokar II, crowned and robed, seated in majesty within a beaded inner circle. The ruler is depicted facing forward with arms extended outward, holding what appear to be elongated sceptres or regalia in each hand, the drapery rendered in bold relief characteristic of Bohemian bracteate coinage. The design is struck in high convex relief on a thin hammered flan with an irregular serrated edge, typical of mid-13th century Central European bracteate production. No legend is present; the design is purely figural. |
