Obverse description Two standing figures facing one another in the central field, rendered in the bold, schematic style characteristic of late 12th-century Polish bracteate coinage. The figures appear to be engaged in a formal exchange or investiture scene, each depicted with stylized drapery and headdress. A six-pointed star occupies the lower left field. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, beyond which a partial architectural or ornamental frieze runs along the upper register. The overall composition reflects the feudal iconographic conventions of the Piast dynastic coinage of Greater Poland.
