| Beschrijving voorzijde | Single-sided bracteate displaying a frontal standing figure, rendered in a stylised Romanesque manner, wearing a long robe and holding a long staff or sceptre diagonally across the body in the left hand. To the right of the figure appears an emblem or heraldic device, possibly an eagle or princely symbol, executed in a schematic, linear style characteristic of 12th-century Polish bracteates. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner border, with the irregular flan edge visible beyond. The composition is centrally placed within the coin field, with no legible inscription. |
