Obverse description Central field dominated by a horizontal rectangular panel enclosed within a beaded border, containing the abbreviated ruler's name rendered in stylized Latin capital letters. Within the panel, a figure or decorative element appears below the lettering, typical of the Piast dynastic bracteate coinage. The overall design is framed by a continuous pearled or beaded outer border following the irregular flan. The composition is characteristic of the thin one-sided bracteate technique, with the design struck in shallow relief on a fragile silver planchet. The artistic style reflects the Romanesque influence prevalent in Polish coinage of the late 12th century.
