| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features two confronted figures, likely knights or princes, facing each other within a beaded inner circle. Above the figures, a stylized architectural or heraldic element — possibly a gate or crown motif — is visible at the top of the inner circle. The surrounding outer border bears a partial Latin legend reading CIVCA or similar fragmentary inscription, rendered in crude medieval letterforms consistent with 12th-century Piast coinage. The overall design is characteristic of the bracteate tradition of Greater Poland under Mieszko III the Old, struck on a thin, irregularly shaped flan. |
