Reverse description As a bracteate, the reverse presents the incuse mirror image of the obverse design, showing the indented impression of the bishop's facing effigy wearing a mitre with lappets. The surface is characteristically concave and unadorned, displaying only the incuse relief transferred through the thin silver flan during striking. No separate reverse design or legend is present, consistent with the bracteate technique employed for Augsburg episcopal pfennig coinage of the mid-14th century.
