The monogram, serving as the royal initial of Magnus III Birgersson, is flanked by small pellets positioned to the right, left, and below, functioning as decorative stops. The entire device is enclosed within a raised solid inner ring, beyond which lies a broad, flat border typical of the thin single-sided bracteate flan. The minimalist composition reflects the utilitarian monetary style of medieval Scandinavian petty coinage of this period. |
