| 裏面の説明 | As a bracteate, this coin was struck from a single die on a thin silver flan, producing a mirror-image incuse impression on the reverse corresponding to the obverse design. The reverse therefore displays the same cross-and-animal composition in incuse relief, with the four quadrant animals and central rosette appearing as concave recesses. The thin flan and characteristic irregular edge are consistent with the hammered bracteate production method used at the Kraków mint during the late 12th and early 13th centuries. |
