| Beschrijving voorzijde | Full-length frontal effigy of a standing ecclesiastical figure, identified as Abbot John I, depicted within an ornate vesica-shaped mandorla formed by two arching foliate branches with spiral terminals. The figure is rendered in high relief characteristic of bracteate coinage, wearing liturgical vestments and holding a processional cross with globe finial in the right hand and a book or crozier attribute in the left. A circular beaded border frames the entire composition. A partial legend in Gothic minuscule characters encircles the design in the outer field. |
