Obverse description Frontal enthroned figure of the margrave, depicted in a stylized Romanesque manner, seated facing and holding a sword in each raised hand. The figure is rendered within a beaded inner circle, with the body flanked by architectural or decorative elements suggesting a throne. The design is characteristic of 13th-century German bracteate coinage, with a bold, slightly abstracted treatment of the ruler's effigy typical of the Vogtland region.
