| 背面描述 | As a bracteate, the reverse presents the incuse mirror image of the obverse design, showing the negative impression of the bishop's bust with mitre and flowering sceptre. The thin hammered silver flan exhibits the characteristic concave relief of the bracteate tradition, with the reverse surface being entirely uninscribed and bearing no additional design elements. |

Hartmann of Dillingen served as Bishop of Augsburg from 1248 until his death in 1286, a tenure marked by persistent conflict with the Hohenstaufen imperial succession and, later, the turbulent interregnum following Frederick II's death in 1250. Bracteates of this diocese were struck on extraordinarily thin flans, making die-on-die centering critical — off-center strikes are the rule, not the exception, and fully centered examples are genuinely uncommon. Steinhardt 89 is one of several types attributed to Hartmann's long episcopate but cannot be narrowly dated within it.
