Obverse description Frontal bust of a count (earl) centrally positioned, flanked by a cross to one side and a star to the other, beneath a trilobate arch surmounted by three towers in the architectural style typical of Rhenish bracteates. Four pellets are arranged on the outer rim, serving as decorative border elements.
