| Beschrijving voorzijde | Enthroned abbess facing, depicted in frontal effigy with nimbus, holding a book (Bible) clasped before her body with both hands. Flanking the central figure are two stylized tower structures, one to each side, rendered in the Romanesque artistic tradition characteristic of medieval German bracteates. The design is set within a raised inner beaded or plain border, with the entire composition struck in high relief on a thin uniface flan. |
