Obverse description Frontal bust of a bishop in high relief within a raised inner circle, depicted in benediction with the right hand raised in blessing and the left hand holding a crozier or ecclesiastical attribute. The figure is rendered in the Romanesque style characteristic of mid-12th century German bracteate coinage, with stylized drapery and a nimbus or vestment visible around the shoulders. A beaded or pellet border frames the inner circle, with a further outer inscription band running along the coin's periphery. The entire design is struck on a single thin silver flan, with the image appearing in relief on the obverse and as a corresponding incuse impression on the reverse, as is standard for bracteate coinage.

Reverse description Blank incuse impression, characteristic of bracteate coinage, showing the mirror image of the obverse design pressed into the reverse of the thin silver flan as a natural consequence of the single-die hammered striking technique.
