Obverse description A plain cross with splayed arms occupies the central field, struck in low relief characteristic of bracteate coinage. The cross is centrally positioned within an unadorned, slightly irregular round flan. The field surrounding the cross is flat and undecorated, with no legend or inscription present. The irregular flan edge displays the typical hand-cut, wavy outline associated with hammered bracteate production of the late medieval period.
