| Obverse description | Crowned and bearded bust of Emperor Frederick I facing left, depicted between two flanking towers, each surmounted by a ring; the composition evokes an architectural or palatial setting. A winged half-length figure, likely an angel or eagle symbolizing imperial authority, appears below the bust in the lower field.
