| Obverse description | Enthroned frontal figure, identified as Emperor Frederick I Barbarossa, seated on an ornate throne with visible architectural detailing at the base. The emperor is depicted wearing a crown and imperial regalia, holding what appears to be a sceptre or orb in one hand, with a cross pattee visible to the right of the figure. A fleur-de-lis or similar decorative motif appears to the left. The design is executed in high relief typical of bracteate coinage, with a beaded inner circle framing the central device and a partially legible Latin legend running along the outer border of the coin. |
