Obverse description Standing frontal figure of an angel rendered in low relief, flanked on both sides by a continuous border of raised pellets arranged in an arc encircling the central design. The angel is depicted in a schematic, hieratic style characteristic of late 13th-century Alsatian bracteate coinage, with the figure appearing to hold a cross. The thin hammered flan imparts a slightly concave profile to the design, with the field showing the typical shallow relief of the bracteate technique. No legend or inscription is present.

Reverse description Incuse mirror image of the obverse, as is characteristic of all bracteate coinage struck from a single die on a thin silver flan. The reverse shows the negative impression of the angel and pellet border visible on the obverse, with no additional design elements, legends, or inscriptions. The flan edges are irregular, typical of hand-cut bracteate planchets of the period.
