Obverse description Facing frontal effigy of a crowned ruler seated in majesty, wearing a fleur-de-lis or pellet-ornamented crown, rendered in schematic Romanesque style characteristic of late 12th-century Polish bracteate coinage. The figure is draped in a mantle with incised decorative detailing at the collar and shoulders. In the right hand the ruler holds a sceptre or lance, while the left hand raises a globus cruciger or orb, both attributes of sovereign authority. The field surrounding the figure is plain, bounded by a raised beaded inner border, with the coin's irregular flan exhibiting the characteristic thin, dished profile of the bracteate technique. No legend is present.
