Obverse description Thin silver bracteate struck from a single die, depicting two figures engaged in combat or wrestling, rendered in a schematic, stylised medieval manner typical of late 12th-century Polish bracteates. The combatants are shown full-length in dynamic posture, facing one another in the central field. The partial legend BOLE, referencing the issuing duke Bolesław, appears along the left periphery, accompanied by small decorative star-like ornaments in the field. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border following the irregular flan edge.
