| Descrição do anverso | A mounted knight or ruler depicted in profile to the right, seated upon a horse above a decorative architectural element rendered as a crenellated or battlemented structure with a row of pellets along its upper edge. The equestrian figure is shown in a schematic, Romanesque style characteristic of late 12th-century Polish bracteate coinage. Flanking architectural towers or pillars appear on either side of the central composition, suggesting a fortified gateway or palatial facade. The overall design is struck on a thin, single-sided flan with characteristic bracteate relief, the incuse impression visible on the reverse. The field is plain and unlettered, with the irregular flan edge showing typical characteristics of hammered medieval silver coinage. |
