| Obverse description | Single-sided bracteate struck in thin silver sheet, displaying a lion passant to the left in high relief, rendered in a bold, stylized medieval manner. The lion occupies the central field, its body in profile with the head turned slightly toward the viewer, forelegs raised in a stepping posture and tail curving upward over the haunches. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner border that frames the entire composition. The surrounding field is plain and uninscribed, consistent with anonymous bracteate coinage of the late medieval German territorial mints. The striking is characteristic of the irregular flan shape typical of hammered bracteates of this period. |

| Reverse description | As a bracteate, this coin has no true reverse; the reverse shows only the incuse mirror image of the obverse design — the lion passant — impressed into the thin silver flan during the single-die striking process, with a characteristically flat and featureless surface. |
