Obverse description Schematically rendered frontal face or mask positioned centrally in the field, flanked on either side by a cross to the left and a lumpy or pellet-star to the right. Three pellets are arranged above the central motif. The design is executed in the crude, stylized manner characteristic of early medieval Baltic bracteates, with the facial features rendered in low relief on the thin hammered flan. No legend is present.
