正面描述	Typical bracteate design struck in high relief on a thin silver flan. At center, a stylized lion passant is depicted in low to medium relief, rendered in the Romanesque tradition characteristic of Lower Saxon bracteates of the mid-thirteenth century. Above the lion's head appears a row of pellets forming a crown or crest device, while below the body a prominent heraldic rose or stylized floral ornament occupies the lower field. The overall composition is enclosed within a plain, slightly irregular raised border following the natural edge of the flan.
