| Description de l’avers | Head of the king from the front. The crown bears a cross in the center at the top, and a ringlet on each side, which sometimes appears as a sphere because the hole is very small or is missing entirely. The king holds in each hand a three-leaved linden branch, the top leaves of each branch facing each other horizontally, the two lower ones hanging almost exactly vertical. Upright and cross square border. |
