Obverse description Stylized lion passant to left in low relief, rendered in the schematic bracteate tradition with bold, simplified contours. An anchor device is depicted below the lion's body, serving as a mint or control mark. The design is contained within a raised beaded border encircling the entire field. The thin single-sided flan exhibits characteristic bracteate distortion, with the design pressed through in shallow relief. No legend or inscription is present.
