Obverse description Facing bust of a margrave or ecclesiastical figure rendered in low relief at center, flanked on either side by a key in upright position, the keys serving as heraldic lateral devices. A four-leaf clover motif appears above the head in the upper field. The overall design is contained within a plain raised border, typical of the thin, single-sided bracteate coinage of the region. The style is characteristic of mid-to-late 13th-century German bracteate production, with schematic facial features and symmetrical composition.

Reverse description Incuse mirror image of the obverse design, as is inherent to the bracteate technique whereby the single die impression passes through the thin flan to produce a negative relief on the reverse. No independent design or inscription is present on this side.
