| Beschrijving voorzijde | Single-sided bracteate struck in thin silver sheet, displaying a stylized tower or gate motif in the central field. The architectural device appears as a tall central structure flanked by two shorter turrets or merlons, rendered in a bold, schematic style characteristic of North German medieval bracteates. The design is contained within a plain raised rim formed by the striking process. No legend or inscription is present; the entire composition is devoted to the heraldic device, likely referencing the city gate or fortifications of Dömitz. |
