| Beschrijving voorzijde | A rampant lion passant facing left, its body rendered in high relief with granular pellet detailing throughout the mane and torso, characteristic of the bracteate hammering technique. The tail curves upward and terminates in a trefoil arrangement of three pellets. The flan is enclosed by a raised inner border, itself surrounded by a prominent outer border of large pellets forming a beaded ring around the entire circumference. The field is otherwise plain, with no legend or inscription. The design is typical of mid-13th century German bracteate coinage associated with minor lordships within the Holy Roman Empire. |
