Beschrijving keerzijde Central design featuring a large stylised letter or symbolic motif enclosed within a beaded inner circle, consistent with Bohemian denier reverse types of the period. The composition is heavily worn and struck on an irregular flan, rendering precise identification of secondary design elements difficult. A fragmentary Latin legend is present in the outer field. The overall style reflects the primitive die-cutting characteristic of Bohemian hammered coinage of the early 12th century.

Aanvullende informatie

Borivoj II ruled Bohemia twice — expelled by his brother Svatopluk in 1107, he reclaimed the duchy briefly before being ousted again in 1110. Deniers attributed to his reign are consequently rare, the product of two interrupted periods of rule totaling only a few years of actual minting authority. Cach 418 sits in a contested zone of Bohemian numismatics where die attribution and reign assignment remain subjects of scholarly disagreement, with some pieces previously assigned to this type later reassigned as issues of neighboring Přemyslid claimants.
