Obverse description Frontal bust of a ruler depicted in a schematic, Romanesque style characteristic of 12th-century Polish bracteate-related coinage. The figure appears crowned or helmeted, with a broad body rendered in low relief showing stylized drapery or armor indicated by hatched lines. Two flanking elements, possibly scepters or weapons, are held at the sides, and the surrounding field is plain with a beaded or dotted border partially visible at the rim. The die-cutting reflects the crude but expressive artistry typical of early Piast dynasty hammered silver deniers.
