Obverse description Central field depicts a stylized frontal figure, likely a ruler or saint, standing within a beaded or rope inner circle, rendered in the crude but expressive Romanesque hammered style characteristic of late 10th-century Bohemian coinage. The figure appears robed, with arms slightly extended, surmounted by a cross above the head. A partial Latin legend surrounds the inner circle in the outer field, with letter forms characteristic of the Premyslid denier series. The overall design is bold and schematic, typical of the primitive die-cutting of the period.
