Additional information

Boleslaus II ruled Bohemia during a period of rapid ecclesiastical consolidation, securing the establishment of the Prague bishopric in 973 — a political achievement that gave the Bohemian duchy meaningful independence from the Regensburg diocese. His deniers belong to the earliest layer of Bohemian coinage, initiated under his father Boleslaus I and expanded significantly during his own reign as the nascent state built out its administrative and commercial infrastructure.

Cach 45 sits among a group of types where attribution remains partially inferential, assigned by stylistic and die-link analysis rather than documentary record.
