Obverse description Central field dominated by a long cross with expanding arms dividing the flan into four quarters, each containing a small annulet or pellet. The cross is enclosed within a plain inner circle, surrounded by a peripheral legend of uncertain or partially legible Latin characters rendered in crude, hammered style. The overall design is characteristic of early Bohemian coinage, exhibiting the irregular, hand-struck flan typical of late 10th-century Central European deniers.
