| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays a stylized architectural or chapel-like motif, rendered in a highly schematic, almost abstract manner typical of early medieval Bohemian deniers. A triangular gabled structure surmounts a series of horizontal lines or arcade elements, with the name REX or a similar abbreviated inscription visible in the central register. The design is enclosed within a beaded border, and the flan exhibits the irregular, slightly wavy outline characteristic of hand-struck tenth-century coinage. The execution is bold but crude, consistent with the earliest products of the Bohemian ducal mint. |
