Reverse description A bold cross potent at center, with one large pellet (globule) placed in each of the four angles formed by the cross arms, giving a symmetrical quatrefoil arrangement. The design is contained within a beaded inner circle, surrounded by a second plain raised border, all set on the characteristically irregular hammered flan. No inscription or legend is present. The relief is crisp and the cross arms terminate in squared, T-shaped finials consistent with the potent form.
