Reverse description A bold pattee cross with slightly expanding arms occupies the center of the inner circle, with a large pellet placed in each of the four quadrants, all enclosed within a plain raised ring. The composition is clean and symmetrical, typical of mid-11th century episcopal deniers of the Low Countries. A partial circular Latin legend runs through the outer field surrounding the inner circle.
