Reverse description Central field displays a plain cross pattée set within a beaded inner circle, a motif emblematic of Christian authority on medieval German coinage. A second concentric beaded ring frames the inner design, with a small architectural or decorative element visible at the top of the inner circle, possibly a stylized tower or chapel symbol. The peripheral legend, IN NOMINI DNI AMEN, an abbreviated invocation of the divine name, runs in large, bold Latin capitals around the outer field. The hammered flan exhibits the characteristic irregular contour of hand-struck medieval pfennigs, with slight weakness in the strike at certain points along the rim.
