Obverse description Central field dominated by an elaborate interlaced cross design composed of four foliate arms with interlocking knotwork, characteristic of the Árpád-era decorative style. Four small cross patée ornaments are positioned between the arms in the diagonal fields, with additional decorative elements at the cardinal points. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border running along the coin's circumference. The design is executed in relief with deep, confident die-cutting typical of late 12th-century Hungarian hammered coinage. No legend is present on this face.
