Reverse description Frontal enthroned figure, likely a ruler or ecclesiastical personage, depicted in a highly stylized Romanesque manner with arms extended and hands raised or holding indistinct objects to either side. The effigy is rendered in bold low relief against the plain field of the irregularly shaped silver flan. No legend or inscription is present. The artistic style is consistent with Bohemian hammered deniers struck under the Premyslid dynasty in the late 12th century, displaying the characteristic schematic rendering of garments and facial features of the period.
