| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a central figural motif, likely a seated or enthroned authority figure or an eagle, rendered in the crude but expressive Romanesque style associated with Bohemian deniers of Duke Bedrich's reign. The design occupies the central field of the irregularly shaped flan, with details partially lost due to weak strike and natural wear. The overall composition is consistent with the typology catalogued under Cach#626 for this emission. |

Bedřich (Frederick) held the Bohemian throne twice — expelled by his cousin Soběslav II in 1173, he was restored by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa in 1178 after paying political homage at the imperial court. His deniers were struck under that restored authority, making them products of a duchy navigating the permanent tension between Přemyslid dynastic politics and Hohenstaufen imperial pressure. Cach 626 is among the scarcer attributions within his second reign, with surviving examples frequently exhibiting die-axis irregularities consistent with provincial workshop production.
